The Live Final.

X Factor began with the biggest auditions from Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England and now only three remain, Leon, Rhydian and Same difference. But there can only be one winner. But who will become X Factor for 2011?

The finalists take the stage...

Same Difference kicked off the show tonight with there first performance singing" All i want for Christmas Louis said it was a great start to the show, I can't believe your still in the show i cant! people must love you". Sharon said "its the best show of the year and you opened it well and you deserve to be here!". Simon said. " I gotta tell you guys, its an England wales and Scotland battle and i think Wales is going to cause an upset"!

Leon's first song was, "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas". "Leon" said Louis " Your star quality, i apologise what i said about you at the beginning you great". Sharon said "Leon, You are a really talented guy and you are such a little star Simon said "If I'm being honest it's 1-0 for Same difference" Louis said "no vote for Leon".

was up next delivering a powerful performance..."Rhydian|" You are the next biggest singer in Wales, Pick up your phone and vote"said Louis. Sharon said "It was devine it was really really emotional". Simon said "If we were to award a prize for who acted brilliant throughout, you would win it Rhydian". Danni said " If you don't get Christmas number one you can come sing that song round my house"

Same difference's next song, Any dream will do" were accompanied on stage by Jason Donavon who is about to go on tour soon. The judges never commented. It was the "Same" kind of performance, no difference!!.

Rhydian was joined on stage by Katherine Jenkins singing "You raise me up".. Not as good as his first performance but very entertaining .

Leon performed" Better the devil you know" and was accompanied on stage by Kylie Minouge. I think it was a weak performance and bad song choice. I think he must know he's fighting a losing battle knowing that Rhydian and Same difference are dead cert favorites!.

It was a High School reunion number for them. Louis said " I still think there are two better people in the competition." Sharon said " This is any ones competition, mums, please let your kids phone up and vote for Same difference". Danni said you guys are always great". Simon said " Guys, we didn't do well in the football and i think you representing this country will win it, You are very nice people and the happiest people on earth and i hope you win".

Leon performed a much better song choice this time. " You don't know me". "Leon" said Louis" You are potentially as good as Micheal buble.". Sharon said " You have been on stage with Kylie minouge and Micheal buble and it's rubbing off on you". Simon said, "Leon, I'm going to be honest with you...That was fantastic, it was great, congratulations, If your mums listening close your ears" she then said "Phwoor, that was hot"!

Rhydian sung "Somewhere" "Rhydian" said Louis " I'm going to be absolutely honest, you are going to win this show you have everything to be the next X Factor.". Sharon said " I loved that song and i hope you end up recording it"Simon said " Rhydian" It was quite simply brilliant, What i loved about it you walked out on stage like a true professional and if one person should win this for there voice its you".

Kylie sang her new song...."Wow".

Same differance have been voted off the show.Leon has won this years X Factor.

Semi final show 2007

It's the semi finals and this week the acts will have one song chosen for them by there mentors, and one song they will choose for themselves. The judges have lost all the powers they had to vote off anyone now and it's up to the British public to choose this years X Factor. Michael Buble will also be making a special appearance.

Nikki was first to kick off the show.. Sharon said " Nikki, I'm surprised you chose that song but you sung it well. Danni said " its hard kicking off the show and i thought it was a beautiful performance. Simon said "I think the song was dreary, this is the semi final and theres one space left and your lucky you have another song to sin. Louis said " I want people to vote for you because i know it means a lot to you". Simon hit back saying, "it means a lot to everyone!

Leon was up next. "Leon" said Louis. "i think we have a new Michael Buble Sharon said " you are smooth so smooth and its a pleasure to see how far you have got in this competition. Simon said" It was out of tune, the last 30 seconds was good so i cant say its a great performance." Danni said " Its a very hard song to sing and you will come out and blow them away with your second song.

Rhydians performance received a standing ovation from the crowd and judges. Louis said "Rhydian " your gonna make the final that was brilliant" Sharon said " We saw another side of you that was not operatic, well done. Simon said " I thought that was bloody fantastic, absolutely in a different league to everyone else. Danni said " You could print that song and make a record of it ,fantastic".

Same difference sung " chain reaction". Louis said " I don't think your going to make the final, it was like a circu up there. and Simon you are there biggest clown if you think people are going to buy there records". Sharon said it was fun and pleasant but i don't think it was a song to show your vocals". Danni said " I love your performance and 10 dancers and choir, you can have what you want". Simon said " You have taken everything that's thrown at you and people at home will love that and Louis, you want to shatter there dreams.

Nikkis second personal chosen song called "one moment in time". Sharon said " Nikki, that was a perfect song for a semi final. You look like a star and sung like a star and i really hope you go through tonight". Danni said " that was fantastic". Simon said " Nikki it was a bit shouty in the middle. It was a great performance. Louis butted in saying "vote for Nikki, she deserves to be in the final.

Leon's next song he chose because its Jazzy and it is a song by his favorite artist Michael Buble. "How sweet it is to be loved by you". Louis said "Leon, it look like you've been doing this for years and years". Sharon said, "it sounded so natural tonight and you done very well". Simon said " I thought it was a bit droudy, i thought it was an indulgent night at a jazz club". Danni said " Leon in the words of Micheal Buble, you are a star".

Rhydians second song "you'll never walk alone" "Rhydian Roberts , that was an amazing performance, you deserve to be there your a fantastic guy" said Louis. Sharon said that was fantastic and there will be one proud mummy in the audience." Simon said" we looking for a star and someone to represent the country, it was a stunning performance". Danni said " that's another record that could be printed and i definitely want to see you in the final".

"Same differences song choice was called "Dream come true" Louis said " You are really nice people and I'm judging on singers and there are better in this competition" Sharon said " it was really nice to hear you sing without dancing around" . Danni said" i loved that song better than the original". Simon said " That was one of my favorite performance and if you don't make the final you will never have to put up with that rubbish".

Were down to the last 6 acts and it's only 4 weeks until the final and it's all to play for.. Who will face the top 5?.......... This weeks show will feature "love" songs and West life will be making an appearance.

Beverly kicked off this weeks show with "i can't give anymore".Sharon said " Beverly that was a magnificent performance and i have goose bumps all over me". Danni said "Beverly, what were they feeding you in the canteen?, you got in the zone, i don't know what happened but it was very good" Simon said Beverly, even though it was not perfect, you made it special and i think you are a great person and you should be in the top 5" Louis said "Beverly you look like a diva and you sound like a diva. I hope everyone votes for you"..

Next up was Louis favorite act! Same difference who sung "Nothings gonna stop us."Louis said "Guys on a very positive note i think that's your best performance so far but if you two won this competition it would be a travesty". Danni, said " Its great to see how uncomfortable Louis was while you were performing, your really improving and you know i am a big fan." Sharon said. "You look fantastic, and i want to come to your house because it looks so much fun". Simon said " Ignoring Mr grumpy i think that was your best performance so far, i think you could have a hit record with that song.

Nikki sang "The power of love"Sharon said " Niki amazing song and you deserve to be here until the very end",. Danni said Niki you lost it at the end but the rest of it was great". Simon said its hard to be critical after seeing your VTs, I'm so impressed what you did and we now have got our self a completion". Louis said theres no one who can sine accapelo like you and you deserve to be in the final.

Rhydian sang "Somewhere" Louis said " Rhydian, you are a true professional, you are definitely going to make the final and your head and shoulders above the rest". Danni said " Rhydian, did you audition for "Joseph"? because I'm glad Andrew Loyd webber made a mistake so we can have you here". Simon said " Rhydian, the vocal performance was perfect and you will be an incredible winner for this competition". Danni said through tears " I think you are incredible and it felt you were singing to personally to me.

Hope sang a Cristine aguilera number. Luis said "Girls, I'm glad i saved you latest week and i don't know why Simon gave you that song. You have one main singer and all the rest of the girls are going ooh and arhh". Sharon said," You were given a song by your mentor and you sang it well, i just wish you girls luck". Danni said, "it was not note perfect but it was a good performance.". Simon and Louis start arguing (as usual) with Simon telling Louis to " Shut up"! Also saying i think it would be sad if you were to leave after that performance.

Leon sang " You don't know me." Louis said "Leon i love that song, very good performance". Sharon said Leon, you are so relaxed and i think you are a dark horse". Simon said " Leon, i have sat here week after week wondering why you are in this competition.Until now, this is what you do and very well, that was an incredible performance". Danni said " Leon , i feel like part of the family and i Love you".

Westlife sung "Im already there"which cheered Louis up;)

Hope and Beverley were in the bottom two and the judges had to decide who to leave the competition.. Louis voted to save his act Beverly.. Simon voted to send home Beverly saving his act too.. Danni said " I so don't want to see anybody go, I have to go with the act feel has been most consistent and I'm sending home Hope". Sharon said "it's a really really hard decision, I'm doing this for a reason and you will find out after, and the person I'm sending home is Beverly. This left it to a public vote and the person who had the lowest votes was Beverly which means Beverly has left the competition.

5th live show 2007

Last week 10 million of you watched. It began with 12 acts and along the way there have been victory's. The judges have taken no prisoners, and like any battle there must be casualties. Tonight there are 7 acts remaining and this week the contestants will be singing songs from the disco era.
Girls allowed will be making a special performance.

First up is Leon, singing "relight my fire". Louis said " I have not been your biggest fan , but tonight i think that is your best performance so far and it will be hard to beat Rhydian". Sharon said " all the best thing's comes in little packages and you know i love you Leon". Simon said "Leon, the dancing was not great, you spent the whole time looking up the dancers skirts and i thought it was actually a very good performance". Danni, said "Leon forget big band that's was your best performance".

Nikki sang "hot stuff". Sharon said " Nikki, you are hot stuff, you can dance as you have got heart and soul. Simon said " That performance has no place in the modern world, it was like you choreographed the performance in your sleep, it was like a mother at a wedding". Louis said " that was disco Simon, you are still wearing the clothes". Nikki told Simon that "I would like you to come up and try it"

Rhydian sung "Go West." Louis said "Rhydian your so camp you remind me of Simon, I think Danni thinks you have won the competition already". Sharon said " I love camp, it was fabulous". Simon said " I don't think I'm on the right show anymore, I think you may have a problem tonight, i think part of the audience will like that and most wont" . Danni said, on behalf of the nation we salute you Rhydian ".

Hope sang "Man after midnight." Louis said ""Girls your still in this competition and your better than the spice girls..vocally" Sharon said " Girls you look amazing, you look comfortable and confident, well done". Danni said "Girls, i have to say you look like a girl group, Simon what did you do to them" Simon said " You never hear girls singing live on TV, and what you bring to this competition is a sense of fun and i thought it was a terrific performance".

Beverly chose her own song this week singing "I'm every woman". Sharon said "Miss Trotman, i think you are a very special woman, you really are, seriously it was a strong , commanding , fantastic performance". Danni said " miss Beverly, you were in the zone." "Lesson learned" said Simon. "I hated the outfit, i never liked the start of the song but loved the second half". Louis said Rhydian better watch out, you were amazing"

Sharon's last act Alisha was next singing (Young hearts run free) Louis said " your starting to look and act like a pop star" Danni said I don't want to say anything bad but there were some flat notes". Simon said "Alisha, it was a complete and utter mess, the roller skaters could not even skate, there was one point where they nearly fell over each other and Sharon , its your responsibility that should not have happened", Sharon said "its not my fault, i never trained them". Alisha said " i enjoyed it and i was being myself and i just want to do better.

Same difference sang (Don't blame it on the boogie). Sharon said, "your young it was perfect for you, i know you changed things last night which was not your favour but you were still amazing, you done so well" Danni said "I was not sure about the costume or pitching and was not my favorite performance but i love you guys". Louis said, "you are really nice people and your great for kids parties and i wont blame it on the boogie i Will blame Simon". Simon said " I don't think this was your best performance under the circumstance, you did a good job".

Girls aloud singing there new song.

Alisha and Hope were in the bottom two and the judges decide who to stay and who to go. Simon, backing his group voted to send home Alisha. Danni said, "were getting to know each of the acts as the weeks go on but the act im sending home tonight is Alisha". Sharon said "I have to send Hope home." Louis said, "These two should not be in the final two, do i ruin one persons dream or 5, i wish i did not have to vote, im damed if i do and damned if i dont but im sending home Alisha."

Nikki was first up singing "because of you" Sharon said of her performance"Nikki, you are such a belter, unbelievable performance and you sung it really well"..Danni said "I don't think it was the right song choice for you, I think your better than that and it was out of sync and not you best performance",. Simon said " Nikki, I'm going to agree with... Sharon, and what i like about it was you sang the song looking directly at me making me think I'm more important than your mentor Louis. "Louis said "Nikki, that was great performance".

Same difference were up next singing"the scissor sister" I don't feel like dancing. Louis said "I don't know what to say, your great fun but your never going to win the show and your too happy ". Sharon said, "It was something like Micheal Jackson would have done , it was like a bad dream but i still love you guys" Danni said, " You make that look easy and no ones noticing how great you are ", Simon said " I thought it was your best performance so far, it was fun,Simon said to Louis that he must have had a unhappy childhood,.

Louis said of Andy's performance, " Andy, your a great singer but not a winner". "Sharon said I don't know what you are , you are too soft to be rock, You sung very well though". Simon said"Andy, i like you as a person but that was like eating caviar with salad cream, the song was caviar and you were the water, you need a very different kind of song and this week, you got it wrong". Sharon said " I think you judges have got it wrong, it was a very good performance.

Beverly was next singing, "your beautiful" by James blunt. Sharon said "Beverly, there is one thing that sets you aside in this contest is you sing from the heart and tell the story so beautifully" Danni said " Bring back the diva next week, Simon said, "You will hear that kind of performance in a hotel, and it was a peanut performance" Beverly said" I really appreciate a chance to sing a song quieter and tell a story," Louis said " your a beautiful person and i think it was good enough for to be in the final two.

Singing an Amy Wine house song Back to black, was Hope. Louis said, "I love it, theres no gimmicks and your as good as any girls in the charts today" Sharon said " your going to be in this competition to the end " Danni said the first two notes were out of tune but the rest of it was good". Simon said, "You took on an Amy Winehouse song and pulled it off, your fighters, you had a bad week last week but this week you were sensational

Leon sang (dancing in the moonlight) Louis said "i thought you were good last week, and it was like you were singing in a karaoke competition in Scotland, it's Danni's fault for choosing the song not yours", Sharon said " your getting more confident every week", Simon said "You have a charm but was not the best vocal, it wasn't", Danni said I'm so proud of you Leon, you done a good job.

Louis said of Alisha's performance,"vote for her, she does not deserve to be in the bottom two, Danni said "I love it" Simon said " your gaining confidence and i like it at the end where you put a bit of character into it," Sharon said " I loved it and you really really did well"

The Riddler, better known as Rhydian sang "you raise me up" which received a standing ovation from the judges, Louis said " i have heard thousands of versions of that song and that was the best", Sharon said " Rhydian, I know you are capable of making a serious record, i think I'm looking at the winner and i want to go home, your definitely going to win this", Simon said " nothing in the bag, it was similar to Leona Lewis and was very good, and was one of the best version i have ever heard", Danni's said that was amazing, and you always say if i will be here next week which i love about you"

Shane Ward sung his new song "Breathless" which is out on the 19th of november 07.

Beverly and Andy were in the final two. Louis voted Andy saying" This is easy for me, I mentor Beverly so I'm sending Andy home". Sharon said " the person I'm sending home is Andy", Danni voted for Beverly saying "i mentor Andy so I'm sending Beverly home", Simon said "both of you had a week night tonight, Andy, the song was completely wrong for you, Beverly, i stand by what i said about it being a hotel performance, so I'm basing my opinion on who i think the public want to see, so the person I'm sending home is Andy . Andy has left the competition.

3rd live show 2007

Due to all the controversy surrounding "Emily" and the happy slapping video incident, she has chosen to remove herself from the competition..But the show goes on and the rest of the contestants will be battling it out this week , singing with a 27 piece orchestra, to impress not just the judges or studio audience, but the whole of England.

First up is Leon singing "fly me to the moon" "This is your comfort zone, you have a great voice although i never liked the dancing" said Louis, Sharon called him a dark horse who is positioning himself for the final.. Simon said " your voice was very good and i think in a strange way you have me to thank you for" Danni said "you deserve a big band every week and the whole country loves you"

Future proof singing "your just to good to be true" Louis could not be heard due to the cheering "shut up " said Louis then calling the two guys on the end looking odd. Sharon said " well, good song i don't care about the dancing, you look great and sound great, fabulous" Danni said "you never Had long enough to perform those routines and was not my favorite" Simon said they were entertaining and they did great.

Nikki sang "all that jazz" Sharon said "Nikki, you took a real big gamble, but let me tell you, you took the risk and it payed off". "I love that song" said Danni well done..Simon said " I never liked that song, it was cabaret, awful, it was awkward and uncomfortable and i think your better than that, I just never liked it.. Louis told her "I loved it".

Next it's the Riddler, otherwise known as Rhydian, Singing "get this party started" Rhydian, "That was a bit over the top, i never like the song" said Louis. Sharon said "I'm speechless, I think you done it". Simon "absolutely loved it, it's about doing a show and everybody loved it, This has been my favorite performance on X factor this year", Danni said "you did it, good job".

Same difference sang "reach for the stars" Louis said it was a lot better than what i thought it would be and you will spend forever working in panto." Sharon said "your never going to get a hard word out of me i just love you" Danni said you getting better ever week," Simon called it " a terrific performance"

Sharon Osbourne's final act Alisha takes the stage singing "Come on over" "That was your best performance, you looked like a star and if there is any justice you wont be in the bottom two" said Louis.. Simon agree saying " I saw you fighting your way through that performance to stay in, good for you". Sharon told her " Alisha, its just you and me what can i say"

Hope sang hanky spanky (I think:) Louis said " I want the girls to be voted to get the girls in the charts" Sharon said " I love the way you dress and more girl power to you". Sharon said that "Simon is living out some weird fantasy with you girls". Simon said " What i love about what you did tonight is you never took your self to seriously and it was my favorite performance of the night".

Andy sang I need your love. "Andy, you definitely deserve to be in the competition but we have not seen the best of you yet and i never really liked the song" said Louis, " Sharon said he needs to raise his game" . Simon said "Look at Leona Lewis, She is in the charts, and you can get a star from this show".Louis and Simon started arguing with Simon saying "Louis your looking very red" Louis told him " its because I'm annoyed. Danni said " I like it well done"

The final act to perform was Beverly, singing "I'm feeling good, Sharon said "missis Trotman, this is your moment and you owned it" Danni said "its not just your students that love you we all do".Beverly" said Simon, " This is definitely bringing out the best of you and this is your best performance" Louis agreed,

A bad day for Simon Cowell with both his groups Hope and Futerproof were in the bottom two.
Louis sent home Futureproof by saying "I will judge on tonight's performance. Sharon said "I love the girls and have to send home Futureproof" Danni said " I don't think either of you did great tonight, and I'm sending home Hope..Simon said " I'm going to make my decision on who has got the most potential, and I'm sending home Futurproof.

2nd live show 2007

It's time to face the music again this week for the 11 finalists left and Sharon Osbourne has sensationally returned to support her girl group. This week the groups have been helped by Celine Dionne and this week the acts will be singing songs from the movies.

First to perform were Hope singing "moulin Rouge"
"Wow" said Louis""girl power is back, fantastic" Sharon said they were "sassy, they looked great, i love you" Simon said they were "the best group they we have ever had on X Factor.

Leon was next singing "home" Louis said he has "no charisma and no personality" Sharon said "i love the song , you sounded really well, keep it up your great". Simon said " you look like you have seen a ghost and your making the audience afraid. Sharon said "Leon, you bought it home tonight".

Beverly sung "I have nothing" from the Body guard. "This contest is made for someone like you, a mum with a huge dream, your amazing and i love you" said Sharon, Danni said "She thinks she is an inspiration to woman" Simon said it was fantastic and special performance" Louis said "you are one of the nicest people in the competition".

Alisha sung "say a little prayer" Louis told her "I definitely made the right choice last week but you must work harder", Danni said " I don't think we have seen the best of you yet". Simon said " I don't think your performance is good enough to win this competition" Sharon said "you have made your mark and I'm proud of you".

Same difference sung a High school musical number. Louis said "your like two ken and barbie dolls, i don't get it" Sharon disagreed saying "your fantastic, like Olivia newton john and I love you guys", Danni said that "when you guys sing everyone smiles".. Simon told them that "they totally utterly nailed it. Dermot asked Louis what these acts need to do to impress him and Louis said "yes, go home".

Danial sung "build me up buttercup" from "theirs something about Mary" Sharon said "i hate to use one of Louis phrases but I think you should be in a boy band", Danni told him "I wanna see you choose your own songs"Simon said "two words, fire Louis, that was a disgraceful performance". Louis said "he owned the stage and people will vote for him because he is such a nice guy".

Rhydian sang "the phantom of the opera" "Rhydian Rhydian Rhydian what do I say" said Louis, "This show will change your life". Sharon said "your a drama queen and worse than me! "Simon said " You are not only good but potentially world class" Danni said " He is a world star".

Emily's song "I'm not a girl" by Britney Spears, "Emily, your a really nice girl, your only 15 and I think your vulnerable to go tonight said Louis, Simon called her performance "flat and it is what it is and that's a problem" Sharon said she did "really really good and I'm proud of you"

Futureproof sang "if don't know me by now" Louis said "I think Simon is working harder on the girls than the guys" Danni said "Its nice to see a boy band sing in tune" Simon said "Guys you nailed it, a few dodgy notes but you nailed it.

Singing "Staying alive is Andy. "I think your a talented guy but that song was a big mistake and sounded very karaoke" was Louis opinion. Sharon said "it was such a big song and you did your best but was very weak, Simon said "on a positive note i loved the dancers butt it was basically a bloke singing at the pub on a Saturday night, Danni told him " we all love you".

Closing the show is Nikki singing "My heart will go on" from the Titanic. Nikki, your really a brave brave woman to sing this song in Celine Dionne's presence but you did a brilliant job and that was the best performance of the night. Danni said ""You will be in this competition for a very long time" Simon told her that "your incredible, excellent performance" Louis agreed.

Alisha and Daniel were in the final two and Daniel was sent home.

They came in their thousands and only 12 were chosen to sing live in front of the judges, a studio audience and the whole nation to try and become this years X Factor.. This week they will all be singing number one UK hits.

Kimberly is the 1st contestant to kick off the show for Sharon's group the girl sang "it's raining men" Louis says she brings the fun factor to the show although not the best", Sharon says her voice is fantastic, Simon said "it was fine if you like karaoke on a big budget"!!

Andy was next with "wonderful tonight" "What a performance from Louis" Sharon said he has a "beautiful Divine voice" Simon said he was "like a singing puppy" and "it was good enough for the first show", Danny said "he has so much more to show"..

In the spot light next is Simon's group called Future proof, singing "Shes the one" by Robbie Williams. Louis said "It was a bit of a stage performance", Danny said "the work they have done has paid off" Danny called them "Good" Simon said "they did really well for a 1st performance"

For the over 21s Louis introduces Beverly, who sang" I will survive" Sharon loved it saying "fantastic and it sounds like you have been singing you whole life" Danni said she had a few bum notes but there is so much more she can give.. Simon said "it was very stars in their eyes and copycat but fun". Louis said she is a " fantastic singer"

The youngest girl in the contest is Emily who sung "river too deep" I think!! Louis said she has "a great raw talent" Sharon said the "execution of the song was weak" Simon said her "Vocals were off" Sharon said "she did just fine"

Leon sung "money can't buy me love" "Dreadful arrangement but you are great" said Louis. Sharon said the whole "song and arrangement was not good", Simon said "that was a complete and utter mess" and called Sharon's song choice "insane" Sharon responded by saying that "he will get Lot's of support back home"..

Same difference who are hard not to dislike sung "Tragedy" Louis called their performance a "disaster and they have not got a chance of winning" calling them cheesy and 80s" Sharon said they are double cheese burger with bacon and She loved them" Sharon loved them as well as Simon..

Nikki who sang "nothing compares to you". Sharon said "she was in a class of her own" Sharon "loved her performance" "fantastic" were Simon's words..Louis said "she nailed it"

Alisha who sang "Dreams can come true" was loved by Louis, Sharon said "the song was good and a little raspberry. Simon "said he liked her a lot but maybe vulnerable after that performance" Sharon apologised that she chose the song and to get rid of her and not Alisha!!

Rhydian is the most talked about guy in the show, He's like marmite, you either love him or hate him..and unlike marmite he can be liked,. He sung "I would do anything for love". Louis said "You are arrogant, pompous, and talented and you remind me of Simon and you deserve to be in this competition" Sharon said he was "sweet, strange and weird and asked to see his chest" Rhdian said "I will show you another day" Simon said "that was the best performance I've seen by far, out standing" Danni said "I can't wait to see you back.

Daniels performance was called "very nice" by Sharon, Danni called his movements "a bit robotic" Simon said the "his performance was like eating water for dinner" Lois said it was not the best performance and he wants him to be great not good"

Hope were the final to sing Rhyanas "umbrella" Louis said "you look like you have been doing this for years" Sharon "called them good looking and they can sing" Danni said they were "good" Simon agreed saying Phobe was very good and they were fantastic.

Kimberly has been voted off, Simon voted to keep Alisha, Sharon voted to keep Kimberly and Louis had the deciding vote and voted Kimberly off..

1st up is Dannis group the under 21s 22 year old Andy from Newport who works in the asbestos business..

15 year old school boy Dominic sailed through the 1st auditions..Since he first started singing his family have been behind him all the way and he want to really make them proud..

18 year old Leon who lives on a council estate has has an emotional journey and wants to do well for his family.

19 year old barman Charlie who knows he has to put in a performance of a life time to become the final 12.

24 year old Ridian who says he is on this planet to perform and wants to use his god given talent to make it to the top.

15 year old Luke who found the first stage of the auditions all too much and broke down every performance.

Its Dublin and Louis groups the over 25s and first up to impress the judges and try and make it through is 35 year old Nikki.

Icaro is back again seems to be a survivor..will he survive this last week?

42 year old house wife Zyta who sings from her soul and always puts her all into all her performances..

38 year old primary school teacher Beverly who at aged 10 her mother gave her up so someone could look after her better..

31 year old single dad Daniel D who lost both his parents in the space of a year and believes that if it was not for his little boy he would not be here..

In Spain it's Simon's groups and brother and sister Shaun and Sarah called "Same difference" have always had a child hood dream of becoming successful..

These 3 young lads called "Ghost" want to win X Factor for a better future for them and there family's .

"Future proof" think they may have done enough to be the final 12.

Next up are W4 who have always dreamed of becoming a success and know this is there last chance to make it to the top..

These students from Norfolk called "I Sette Cantani" want to prove they have what it takes to be famous.

This group "Hope" were put together at the auditions by Louis and have had their ups and downs with constant arguing seemed to pulled off an OK performance..

Its time to show Sharon Osbourn what her group the girls are made of and first to perform is 19 year old Kimberly who works in her parents pub..

15 year old schoolgirl Victoria has always had a love of singing. will the judh=ges love "her" singing?,.

16 year old Kim has had singing lessons since she was 9 years old and wants to do this to prove she can do it..

Alecia who is the oldest girl in this category sang quite well, but was it enough to go through to the final 12?..

14 year old Stephanie who is the youngest in the category sang very sweetly and may become the final 12..

Emily is last up to perform and is one step closer of realising her dreams..

1st Boot camp 07

It.s 1st week of boot camp and the pressure is about to get harder as each contestant tries harder to impress the judges to make it through each week.. Each judge will soon know which of the four groups will be chosen for them until next week..only 12 boys will make it through to the second stage of boot camp so the competition is going to be fierce..

Rid kicked off the beginning of the show did not impress the judges, Simon called him repulsive and Sharon said he was the most nauseating individual yet he made it through to another round... at least..!

22 year old soldier Ryan who is normally fighting as a soldier in Iraq says Singing is a dream he has always dreamed of did not make it.

19 year old barmaid Kimberly impressed the judges last week although Simon said she was properly the most annoying contestant he has ever met sung "and I'm telling you".. and was put through.

Emily sung "it's a new life.."she could be great" was the judges only response. but she made it through.

20 year old wannabe diva Rachel, impressed the judges but more on her personality AND doing the splits than her singing. Simon loved her calling her ruthless but in a nice way..

Here are the judges, having to make some very hard decisions..

43 year old super market shelf stacker Ikaro was called barking deluded and can't sing yet made it through to the final six.

31 year old single dad Daniel wants to win the x Factor for him and his 3 year old son. He sung "Umbrella" by Rhiana, and was liked very much by the judges..

38 year old Beverly, a school teacher belted "let there be love", and Simon said it was a wrong song choice but is through to sing another day..

14 year old Luke is back again singing "let it be" and the judges let him go through to the next round.

34 year old Nikki who's father applied for her to appear on the show but he had died before he told her. It was only her going through his possessions and found the application,, which failed to impress the judges..but shes through..

(New girl band) sung "Don't ya", spent most of the week arguing with each other, It showed in there awful singing but were liked by the judges nevertheless to go through to another week.

New boy band "future proof" made it through..

17 year old Anna Lisa sang extraordinarily well last week, but this week she broke down half way through her song after delivering a very bad performance. She was described as "absolutely awful" by Sharon... she never made it through..

South London trio "Ghost" have worked hard to become successful musicians until there music equipment was robbed, so they are here on X Factor for a helping hand to the top. they are now one step closer to there dreams as they were put through.

Brother and sister act Sarah and Shaun, were put through again and were all smiles... still..!

The decision has been made which judge will get which category and Simon has been given the groups to mentor in Spain. Sharon has the girls and will be in Los Angeles. Danny the boys and finally Louis Walsh who did NOT want the over 25s will be mentoring the...over 25s in Ireland

First up was 46 year old hair dresser Jackie says she was born to perform and sung "something inside so strong" Simon called her voice "strange" and said it sounded like she was choking on something when she sings.. Danny and Sharon said they could not understand a word she sung..!!

14 year old Luke from Yorkshire is one of the youngest contestant to audition this year..Sharon and Danny called him good. Louis said he was the best they had seen today.. while the judges were debating he broke down in tears....Sharon gave him a hug and Simon said he needed to see him again singing a different song..

Analise from Plymouth who's dream is to be on Wembly stadium performing,,,She sung beautiful, and they all loved her and was immediately put through without question...Her school friends were very happy for her.

46 year old Zita from Kent who's very proud to be British sung "candle in the wind" Simon called her adorable and was also put through..

44 year old Raj has invested £56.ooo to become a success as a musician..Simon said there was as much chance of him becoming a pop star as it was for him to fly to the moon tomorrow for breakfast..

42 year old Barbara who was dumped by her husband said she wants to become a success sang rather well, Simon called her cabaret, although they all like her and all put her through to boot camp..apart from Simon but 3 yeses is enough...

17 year old Emma from rams bottom sang dreadfully but was forced to the auditions by her family who said she could sing..Simon told her she couldn't and

24 year old personal trainer Rid short for ridley wants to perform in front of millions.... After singing quite badly he was put through to boot camp.....just!!!
Stephanie from Lancaster who had such a powerful voice sung "Ben" by Micheal Jackson" well enough to go through to boot camp..

Dawn an apprentice jockey who wants to be the next Madaona somehow caused Louis and Sharon to burst out laughing and was told to leave the room by Simon..

Luke is back for another chance and forgot the words to his song which never looked good in front of Simon especially but he done enough to go straight to boot camp.

That's it...its all over for the auditioning for another year and the X Factor convoy is off to Boot camp...

This weeks audition kicked off in Belfast and Birmingham with 44 year old twin sisters Michelle and Julie who normally do graveside singing!! They sang" in the arms of an angel" dreadfully and after there poor rendition Simon called them a couple of corpses, Sharon asked if she could book them for her funeral!!............... its back to funeral singing for these girls..

Caroline who was up next. .....Asked who she sings like, she said Whitney Houston.. after her poor performance. Simon called her dreadfull....which was a very fair comment..

Shelly aged 30 from Doncaster who has previously done topless dancing said shes a good entertainer and wants to prove herself, Shelly a trained singer and dancer sang a song by Liberty X called "Just a little bit" with a not too bad dance routine, which finished off with the splits....Sharon called her a pussy cat doll..

Kimberly from who sung "ain't no mountain high enough" sailed through to boot camp after an excellent performance....

70 year old shop worker Maria came to the auditions with her own songs and lyrics for everyone to sing along to, she certainly never went through to boot camp but she did enough to put smiles on every ones faces..

2o year old Sam sung "hand bag and glad rags, Simon called him great, Danny said she loved him and thought he was fantastic.. he's on his way to boot camp pretty soon

Alison , a trained singer said shes got what it takes and then delivered a very bad performance of "your beautiful". Simon called her performance ridiculous and that she should ask for a refund from her vocal coach..!!

18 year old Super market worker Mathew who would win x factor easily if it was a confidence competition sang "lean on me" He said hes not offering his singing abilities but his personality and did a very good job...at both.. Simon said he could either be great or could be in butlins, Louis called him a karaoke singer but he had 3 yeses from the judges which is enough to through to boot camp..Louis said NO as he did not want to end up working with someone so cocky in boot camp..

23 year old Kelly, who claims to have the X Factor and compares her self to Celine Dionne, Mariah Carey, and said she gives her self 10 out of 10 for vocals. She sang "I will always love you" and litterally screeched her rendition. After being rejected by the judges her father came to talk to the judges and became very confrontational calling him very rude, Simon told him that he was to blame for her delusion. He was eventually removed by the judges..

Dominic aged 15 sang "Mac the knife" and was the best performance of the night... Simon was gob smacked calling him a talented young man..Loius said it was a natural talent..You will definitely be hearing more of this guy..

28 Year old Natasha who came with her daughter Jasmine is a single mum who had left a violent relationship and was using this opportunity to make a new start. Everyone of her friends said she should go on X Factor.. She sung quite well and although very nervous the judges put her through as they said she needs a chance in life and this will help her confidence.

Apologies for lack of pics and "quotes", This is due to a technicall error at the beginning of the X Factor show.

The show kicked off in Glasgow and Manchester with Colin aged 43 a gas engineer who bet a pound with the bookies at 1000-1 that he will win the X Factor Next up was Renato was a very charming chap who sang the Italian version of "Just one cornetto". Julie Andrews who was a very happy lady. She works in a super market testing new products was 3rd and went through. Viviene says she wanted to be like Shirley Bassey and sounded not too bad but as Simon says she has no control over her voice..She broke down in tears and pleaded with the Judges be put through but she only had two yeses and three is needed

Tertoshko! traveled all the way from Japan which is just 9936 miles away and sang "my way". She certainly sang it her way but not the right way to get through! although he said her voice is sweet and cute and may have to take her home with him.....Simon thought the Japanese girl was adorable but had to control himself from bursting out laughing..

Richard a shop worker who's mother waits nervously for her son to get through but she need not worry, as he was put through, Louis said hes like a will young but better looking..

These girls called fallen angels walked in the audition room singing in "almost" perfect harmony.. Louis and Sharon said they liked them, Danny said she was very excited about them and 4 yeses later they were put through.

This group sang terrible and Simon said it was not right. They said we need direction and Simon said "yeah,.. its the door over there ".......

This weeks X Factors auditions kicked off in Birmingham and Cardiff.

First up singing for the judges was Debbie who chose to sing "I will always love you" by Celine Dion and practically murdered the song, When she finished it was Simon who broke the silence saying it was the worst performance he has ever seen, with Danny telling her singing is not for her.

Next was Iklos, who had a list of 18 songs to sing and Simon asked what songs he was going to sing , started reeling off all 18 to which Simon said "no" to everyone of them.

Clare 19 sang a very poor version of Brian Adams " every thing I do"and was laughed at by the judges and was not put through after Dasnni said "I would be completely lying if i said you had a chance".

Gavin, who sings at weddings, sang "your love is lifting me higher" and was told by Sharon he never had the best voice in the world but has a nice personality. Simon said he has sung so many other peoples songs he has lost his own voice.and was put through though with 4 yeses.

20 year old Stephanie, a check out worker from Asda sang very beautifully and sailed through.

Paris who auditioned last year and had to confess to the judges she was under age so was disqualified, now shes back and sung in an opera style "I will always love you" and impressed the judges enough to be put through with a yes yes yes except Danny said no as she thought she was not ready yet.

Maths teacher John murdered Tom Jones "Help yourself" After a stunned silence the judges calling his performance bizarre, crazy, terrifying, horrendous and horrific. and did not go through although Danni said yes at it was very entertaining, He then said that Tom Jones cannot sing and never could and that the judges are denying a singer from wales

25 year old Rachael, the angriest contestant in the history of X–Factor! said she was better than Madonna, Gwen Stafani and has a natural talent and rates herself 10 out of 10 for looks, body and says "I'm too damn good"....When she finished singing, she said "that was good lets face it" Simon called her lazy and deluded to which she started swearing at the judges calling them, bleep bleep bleep bleep and confronted the judges telling them there all useless, and "the way you live your life bleep bleep" until Tony the security guard had to remove her.

This was one guy that the judges would never forger, 43 year old Brazilion Icarol father of 4 and married for 20 years, a supermarket shelf stacker and sang for 2 seconds before Simon told him to stop, but he just proceeded to sing one song after another which humoured the judges , He was put through after saying he loves Simon and that they look very alike.

Last up was Ryan a soldier who has spent 6 years in the army, When he sang his song Danny said he was absolutely gorgeous, Simon said hes not the best he has heard but he was given enough yeses to go through the next stage.

We had to wait a whole year, but it's back, and this years X Factor will hopefully better than ever... Here are just a few of the contestants who the judges will be making and breaking there dreams of becoming this years X Factor. Tonight's opening show is just the beginning of whats hoped to be spectacular series.

Louis Walsh is back with fellow judges Sharon Osbourne, Simon cowell and Danni minouge and It's good to see him back. He has so much charm and charisma and is very funny and in Simons words " I missed Louis Walsh."

It was 55 year old Susan who kicked off the 2007 show, she said she has wanted to sing since she was a little girl and sang "you'll never walk alone" She was so bad it sounded like someone had let the cats out as she proceeded to murder the song.. The judges thought she was hilarious with Simon telling her it was the strangest audition he has seen in his life.

Here were W4 singing very well and were all put through much to there surprise and excitement.

This Brother and sister duo called "Same difference" must be the happiest, nicest, lovey dovey pair ever.. after singing there song Simon asked if they could do it without all the funny faces and because there so happy, Simon said they need to watch lots of depressing films!! They were eventually put through mainly for being annoying and nice!.

This is Emily from London who is the youngest ever singer to appear on X Factor, aged 14. She sang very beautifully. Simon said he loved her and that she was fantastic and it was a yes, yes, yes, yes, from the judges so you will be seeing more of her. She's not just lucky to be auditioning but lucky to be alive as she had previously spent a long time in hospital very ill with organ failures and her heart had stooped and was brought back to life.

This is Joy a dinner lady from Mersey side, she says she can play 3 invisible instruments and started making strange noises which was hilarious and was not put through but entertaining nevertheless.

Nicky Evens the final contestant to face the judges tells the judges that her father applied for the application for the show without telling her as he wanted it to be a surprise, he since has passed away and she found the letter and is doing this for him. She sung "I will always love you" and gave me goose pimples the judges words were. Excellent,great,really really good, astounding, and they all put her through without hesitation. We will see much more of her in the future that's for sure.
